Ladies ILLR at Lancelin
On 1-3 February, 16 girls from Central West Coast played at Lancelin for the Inter-league Round Robin 4’s. Six of those girls were from Jurien, well done Lorraine Leeson, Jacqui Helliwell, Anne Cashmore, Rosemary Carter, Penny Beale and Kath King.
Central West Coast won the trophy again for the second year in a row. The girls played fantastic bowls in some very trying conditions, the wind was horrendous and made it very challenging for bowls.
From that game played in Lancelin, the selectors picked a combined side to play the Inter zone 4’s at Dunsborough on 9-10 March 2019. A huge congratulations to the following ladies from our league selected to play in this prestigious event.
Sandra Trenowden, Linda Prosser, Chris Lewis, Lorraine Leeson, Jacqui Helliwell, Annie Atthowe, Penny Beale, Margie Johnson, Rosemary Carter
Well done again to all the girls involved.
