Ladies Pennants 2022/23

The second game of pennants for the ladies was played today in Cervantes, not a very good result for our two teams.
For Red against Leeman the Jackie Helliwell team of Ros Carter, Sharon Foale and Marian Allen went down 12-29 and Fiona Allen, Sandy Forward, Kath King and Merren Emery went down 15-23.
The White team who played Badgingarra had a very narrow loss  The team of Lorraine Leeson, Lois Allan, Regine Henriques and Anna O’Dowd were beaten 20-23 and Heather Clatworthy, Irene Stokes, Helen Patton and Evelyn Triffit had the only win for the day 19-18.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well done to Jurien Red Ladies on reaching the pennant finals. Red finished on top of the ladder which will allow them to play the 1st semi final at home next Tuesday against Dandaragan. The teams for next Tuesday are….

Round 5- 19th November 2019

Jurien travelled to Cervantes with mixed results.

Jurien White lost to Dandaragan with Anne Cashmore going down 18-33 and Sandy Forward losing in a close game 18-20.

Jurien Red had two very good wins against Leeman, Lorraine Leeson won 23-12 and Kath King had a huge win 37-12.

The ladder now reads

Jurien Red    18.5 points

Dandaragan   15 points

Cervantes    10 points

Jurien White   9 points

Leeman   7 points

Badgingarra   0.5 points

Round 3- 29th October 2019

Both teams travelled to Dandaragan and it was great to see that both teams came away with wins.

Jurien White played Leeman with Anne having a 22-18 win and Sandy winning 25-18- giving them a comfortable aggregate win.

Jurien Red played top team Dandaragan and although Lorraine had a narrow loss 18-19, Kath ensured the aggregate win with 23-19.

This means that Red now sit comfortably on top of the ladder and White are just behind Dandaragan in third position.
